PSE’s fire protection experience includes high-rise fire alarm, evacuation controls, sprinkler and pump design, smoke detection systems, incipient and thermal cable fire detection, ionization/photo electric/laser smoke detection, smoke evacuation, pressurization, and fire command center design.

Our team complies with codes, prepares life safety plans and evacuation planning instructions, and incorporates detailed exit plans, especially for unique buildings with difficult exiting or shelter-in-place strategies.

Services include working directly with fire command and first responders for compliance with Fire systems renovation strategies and code verification, estimating of probable costs, emergency management services for occupants and fire services, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), Emergency Operations and Preparedness including preparation of emergency action plans and floor/occupant evacuation graphics.

We are in our third decade of providing solutions for: Large-scale, networked fire detection system renovations, Fire alarm specifications that meet or exceed NFPA codes, phasing of large-scale fire alarm/fire suppression projects, phased replacement of existing systems to new systems and construction administration expertise.
