Project Overview

Professional System Engineering, LLC provided design services for a new city-wide fiber infrastructure, network and VoIP telephone system. Our efforts identified available pathway options allowing the city to connect all existing city buildings by single-mode fiber. This saved the city significant cost by reducing the cost of providing telephone service to several smaller remote buildings. The 10G network is was designed to address not only the current needs for a rapid deployment of new telephone services but also will provide the city valuable bandwidth for supporting future network, CCTV, and access control systems. PSE filled a unique role acting as technical liaison for the city’s Administrative office as well as police and fire buildings. PSE demonstrated a unique ability to translate the highly technical into easy to manage concepts. This helped the City administrators to stay on top of the project and make informed decisions throughout the project

PSE’s project approach blends planning practices, our experience in outfitting of historical properties, the current best practices for telephone systems, and over 35 years of communication systems experience.
