Project Overview

Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided consulting engineering services for St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center, including security electronics, detention door hardware, tele/data communications, and audio/visual systems. This project was an existing building and 23,000 GSF expansion of the St. Mary’s County Adult Detention and Rehabilitation Center as a design/build project.

This project requires a complete electronic security system upgrade for the existing facility, including new detention hardware in select areas along with provisions for telephone, computer network infrastructure, and public address. The expansion requires all-new electronic security systems, communications, A/V, and detention hardware. PSE provided new central control within the expansion requiring proper phasing and support to maintain existing security.
