Project Overview

Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided design services including complete construction documents and construction administration services for all dormitories and campus academic buildings.

The general scope of work consisted of replacing and modernizing the fire alarm systems, adding new security systems, and a site-wide fiber optic network for Lincoln University’s buildings. PSE established requirements for a site-wide fiber optic network that links all the new fire alarm panels, the video surveillance system, and access control to the security operations center located in the security office. PSE also designed new emergency lighting, exit lights, and exit signs. The program included installation of networked and computerized addressable fire alarm systems, access control, and security systems.
