Project Profile: Bridgeport Superior Court & Center for Juvenile Matters, CT

Project: Court Security Consulting and Engineering Services

Scope of Work: Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided project design, engineering services, and construction administration including: design of two distinct and separate control centers that will include main graphical user interfaces, security controls, server computer system, and the headend systems for video surveillance, intercom, and paging systems. PSE provided full interior security system designs including site-wide door monitoring, access control, video surveillance, intercom paging, and vehicular sallyport control.

This project provides for the design and construction of a new courts, administrative and juvenile facility to include about 89,000 square feet of courtroom, housing, and program space. The new facility will be fully self-contained and designed to be state-of-the-art. The program budget is approximately $36 million.
