Project: Communications and Advanced Systems Consulting
Scope of Work: Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided systems design and consulting services for control, communications, and infrastructure.
A $60 million facility, built in 18 months, required an entire universal wiring infrastructure. A complete RFP for communications was prepared for the equipment budget of $1.6 million and infrastructure costs of over $400,000.
This 400,000 sq. ft. facility encompasses multiple county/city jurisdictions in the Lexington, Kentucky area. Because the design/build contracts awarded approached a cost of $60 million, the owner and planners obtained expert fire, tele/data communications, audio, multimedia, and video consulting provided by PSE. The project was lauded as a complete success.
