Project: Security and Fire Systems Design and Consulting
Scope of Work: Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided systems design and consulting services for control, communications, detention systems, and infrastructure.
A $60 million facility, built in 18 months, required full design build engineering services for security and fire systems. The $11 million detention security package used state-of-the-art designs, high-tech server/IT solutions, and multiple layered secure zones to assure officer, inmate, and community safety.
This 400,000 sq. ft. facility encompasses multiple county/city jurisdictions in the Lexington, Kentucky area. Because the design/build contracts awarded approached a cost of $60 million, the owner and planners obtained expert fire, tele/data communications, audio, multimedia, and video consulting provided by PSE. The project was lauded as a complete success.
