| PSE’s design involved the planning and coordination with the County for a new Justice Center entrance through the link of two existing buildings. Physical and electronic security design included specialized card access, communications, CCTV monitoring, control and surveillance, new security control station, and metal weapons detection. | ||||||||||||||||

| The primary project objective for the Courthouse, one of the most ornate courthouse developments in the world at the time of construction, was life safety of the building occupants. A secondary objective was the protection of the structure itself which is historically registered. | ||||||||||||||||
