As telecommunications consultants and infrastructure planning engineers, PSE delivered master planning, communications infrastructure management, negotiations and documentation detailing over 100 miles of buried infrastructure. Project included physical survey of miles of underground ducts including electrical, telecommunications, steam, gas, air, and storm water to accommodate future fiber optic and T1 services for thousands of employees.

Programmatic Design Lexington Fayette County Detention Center

PSE was responsible for programmatic design, consulting and preparation of RFP’s for digital PBX, optical-gigabit ethernet networks, satellite reception/distribution, ATM/Sonet connection to Lexington government, and video conferencing. A highly structured cabling system was required for the demanding load of computer and video data activity as well as extensive telephone requirements.

Telecom/data Infrastructure Philadelphia Zoo

For this 35-acre historical landmark, PSE provided new telecom/data site backbone network infrastructure. Fiber, coax and high speed data cables were employed to serve security, data collection, point-of-sale information, digital PBX and other communication network requirements. A keen sensitivity to site surroundings were required to blend a digitally encoded wireless audio paging system into special animal, vegetation and visitor environments.
