PSEElectrical Engineer / Systems Designer

Job Description:

Responsible for planning and programming for various building protection systems with knowledge or prior experience in one or more disciplines related to: Electronics and Physical Security (CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter, etc.), Fire Alarm/Fire Protection, Sprinkler, IT/Communications, Audio Visual, Building Technologies, Science and Energy, Security/Conservation-based Lighting, low/medium Voltage Power Supplies, and Systems Integration.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge in design of one or more elements for electrical systems, power distributions, PLCs, physical and electronic security systems and/or communications, life safety, and fire protection.
  • Produces/Assists with projects/systems plans, design, quality control, scheduling, project scope controls on multiple projects or project, elements within deadlines
  • Interfaces/coordinates architects, vendors and manufacturers activity
  • BSEE and/or combination of related work experience and allied BS.
  • Interested in obtaining or possess EIT and PE licensure.
  •  Knowledgeable/Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Be able to obtain security clearances.

PSENew Grad in Electrical Engineering

Job Description:

New Grad with a BSEE/MEP from an accredited program to work with other engineers for the preparation of high quality deliverables during the schematic design, DD/CD phases, bid phase, construction, commissioning, and occupancy/post phases.

Learn the exciting disciplines of security, CCTV, access control, life safety/fire protection, tele/data, audio/visual, building technologies, instructional technologies, specialized lighting design, and systems integration.

Works under the direct mentorship of electrical engineers and allied designers to produce top quality drawings using AutoCAD.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Possess an BSEE or allied BS degree
  • Possess technical writing ability
  • Knowledge of and/or aptitude in AutoCAD 2D, Sketch-Up, and Revit 3D
  • Obtain a security clearance.

PSECo-op / Internship in Electrical Engineering
