Detention, Jails & Correctional Security

PSE provides specialized detention, holding, and justice facility security, life safety, and communications designs. This includes creating detention hardware specifications, estimates, planning services, systems design for touch screen control, construction documents, project administration and management, as well as commissioning testing/inspection services. Our project managers have directed and produced both large-scale 1,000 bed designs and small renovations in over 20 states. Utilizing both accredited practitioners and experienced engineers, we formulate solutions with the highest available level of security at the most reasonable costs.

Dispatch/Emergency 9-1-1 Center

PSE practices a design philosophy of specifying simple user interfaces for highly complex systems. Our Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs emphasize using the systems’ intelligence to simplify the data provided to the operators. The data monitoring system should act as a filter to prevent the user from being distracted by non-pertinent information. Our successful integration of multi-formatted, real-time incident command displays resolves complex issues into "whole picture" solutions. Actionable data and information resource sharing interoperability and GIS interface are all top priorities for uniform command structures.
